CMC (Ceramic Matrix Composites)

CMC stands for Ceramic Matrix Composites. In particular, fiber-reinforced ceramic-based composites, which are made of ceramic fibers to enhance strength and toughness, are expected to be applied to high-temperature structural materials in various fields, such as aerospace, automotive, and power generation, due to their light weight, high strength, high toughness, and excellent heat resistance.
